By using spinek.store or buying from it, you agree to these terms. Spinek operates this store.
Who can buy
You need to be at least 18, or have a parent or guardian's permission, and give accurate information at checkout.
The product
A Spinek is a 3D printed keychain spinner with a sealed steel ball bearing and a rewritable NTAG213 NFC chip inside. Every Spinek is hand assembled, tested and paired with a setup instructions link before it ships. Small variations in texture, layer lines and engraving are normal and are not defects. Colors on your screen won't match the physical part exactly.
NFC compatibility: please read before you buy
- iPhone XR, XS and newer open a Spinek's link with no app needed.
- On Android, NFC has to be switched on in settings. It is sometimes off by default.
- Some older, budget and work-managed phones don't have NFC at all.
- Thick, metal or magnetic phone cases can block the tap.
- Writing your own link needs an NFC app (like NFC Tools) on iPhone. Paste only the link, starting with https://. Any text in front of it stops the link from opening.
We can't guarantee a Spinek works with every phone, and a phone without NFC isn't a defect in the product.
What you point it at is on you
You can rewrite your Spinek with any link you choose. You're responsible for what you write to it. Don't use a Spinek to point people at anything illegal, malicious or deceptive. We have no control over or responsibility for links people write to their own Spinek. If someone hands you a Spinek, you're opening a link that person chose, so use the same judgement you would with any link.
Prices and orders
Prices are in US dollars and can change without notice. If a product is listed at an obviously wrong price or described incorrectly, we may cancel the order and refund you in full, and we'll email you if that happens. We can limit quantities or refuse an order, for example if it looks fraudulent.
Intellectual property
The Spinek name, logo, product design (patent pending), photos and text on this site belong to Spinek. Buying a Spinek doesn't give you the right to copy, reproduce or sell your own version of the design.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Spinek isn't liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages from using this site or the product. Our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid for the item. Nothing here limits liability that can't legally be limited.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois. Any dispute goes to the state or federal courts of Lake County, Illinois.
Changes
We may update these terms. The version on this page when you order is the one that applies to your order.
